Partnership Policy

1. Partnership Overview

Moveham partners with individual drivers, independent store owners, and businesses to create a comprehensive ride-sharing and delivery network. This policy outlines the terms, responsibilities, benefits, and expectations for all partnership arrangements with Moveham. By entering into a partnership with Moveham, you agree to abide by the terms set forth in this policy and the Terms & Conditions.

2. Independent Contractor Status

All Driver Partners and Independent store owners are independent contractors, not employees of Moveham. As independent contractors:

  • You are responsible for your own business expenses, taxes, and benefits
  • You have flexibility in choosing your own schedules and routes
  • You maintain control over your own work methods and tools
  • Moveham provides the technology platform to connect you with customers

3. Types of Partnerships

Individual Driver Partners

Independent drivers who own or have legal access to vehicles and wish to earn income by providing ride-sharing services through the Moveham platform.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Valid driver's license with required endorsements
  • Minimum 1 year driving experience
  • Vehicle not older than 10 years
  • Valid motor insurance
  • Smartphone with data plan

Benefits:

  • Flexible working hours
  • Weekly settlements (85%–90% driver, 10%–15% Moveham)
  • Limited platform coverage during active trips
  • Access to driver incentive programs
  • In-app navigation and support
  • Driver training and onboarding

4. Driver Conduct Requirements

Professional Conduct

  • Professional Behavior: Drivers and store owners must act professionally and respectfully toward all users.
  • No Harassment: Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited.
  • No Drugs/Alcohol: Drivers must not operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Product: Store owners must ensure products are properly described and packaged.

Operational Rules

  • Platform Usage: All rides, deliveries, and transactions must be conducted through the Moveham platform.
  • Delivery Standards: Drivers must ensure timely and secure delivery of orders and rides.
  • Vehicle & Fulfillment Readiness: Drivers must maintain safe vehicles, while store owners must be able to fulfill orders as committed.

Prohibited Activities

  • Requesting or accepting payments outside the Moveham platform
  • Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate product listings
  • Engaging in fraud, fake orders, or artificial rating manipulation
  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
  • Sharing user or customer personal information without consent
  • Using unauthorized vehicles or third parties for service delivery
  • Operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol (drivers)

5. Vehicle & Insurance Requirements

Vehicle Requirements

  • Insurance: Drivers must have valid motor insurance that meets the minimum requirements for Nigeria
  • Registration: Vehicles must be registered and licensed in accordance with local laws and regulations
  • Maintenance: Drivers are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in good working condition, including regular maintenance and repairs
  • Inspection: Vehicles must pass a thorough inspection before activation on the platform

Insurance Responsibility

  • Valid Motor Insurance: Drivers must carry, at all times, valid motor insurance that meets the minimum requirements
  • Limited Platform Coverage: The platform may provide limited coverage for drivers while they are logged in and providing services through the app

6. Moveham's Commitments

As your technology partner, Moveham commits to:

  • Provide access to our technology platform, customer base, and booking system
  • Process payments accurately and on time according to the settlement schedule
  • Offer comprehensive training and onboarding resources
  • Handle customer service, dispute resolution, and escalations
  • Provide marketing and promotional support to increase trip volume
  • Maintain platform security, reliability, and data protection
  • Offer in-app navigation, trip management, and earnings tracking
  • Provide limited coverage during active trips
  • Continuously improve the platform based on partner feedback
  • Maintain 24/7 partner support for critical issues

7. Revenue Sharing and Payment Terms

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and other factors. Partner earnings are calculated based on completed trips minus the Moveham service fee:

Payment Schedule

Settlement Period Monday – Sunday
Payment Date Weekly basis
Minimum Payout ₦5,000
Payment Methods Bank Transfer

* Amounts below the minimum payout threshold will roll over to the next settlement period.

8. Performance Standards

Partners are expected to maintain the following minimum performance standards:

Minimum Standards

Acceptance Rate: ≥ 80%
Completion Rate: ≥ 90%
Star Rating: ≥ 4.5 stars
Response Time: ≤ 30 seconds

9. Account Suspension & Termination

Driver accounts may be suspended or terminated if any of the following occur:

  • Misconduct: Harassment, abusive behavior, or violation of platform guidelines.
  • Fraud or Misrepresentation: Providing false information, manipulating fares, listings, orders, or ratings.
  • Safety Violations: Failure to follow safety standards or engaging in unsafe practices during rides or deliveries.
  • Repeated Violations: Continued breach of any Moveham terms or policies.
  • Low Performance: Consistently failing to meet service, delivery, or quality standards.
  • Platform Abuse: Engaging in off-platform payments, fraudulent activity, or attempts to bypass Moveham systems.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to this Partnership Policy will be resolved through the following process:

  1. Notification: Submit dispute through the app or email
  2. Investigation: Our team will investigate and review the case
  3. Resolution: Initial response within 5 business days
  4. Escalation: If unresolved, arbitration or mediation may be initiated

For matters requiring legal resolution, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Nigerian law.
